FRONT OF HOUSE SUPERVISOR

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Front of House Supervisor will be an experienced floor/hosting worker who has previously been a shift manager, or someone who is seeking to increase their responsibilities and knowledge from being an experienced staff member. This unique working environment will encompass seven street food vendors, a mini golf course, events space and a cocktail bar.
CRATE Walthamstow is a unique venue located on the first floor of 17&Central on Walthamstow High Street. The FOH Supervisor will be a friendly and professional team leader who excels at customer service and is talented at hosting a venue with a proactive attitude. A passion for events and hosting private bookings is essential as something new will be on every day of the week.
The FOH Supervisor will be able to think on their feet and will be confident dealing with a range of individuals – customers, business owners, visitors, contractors and colleagues - in a professional, firm and friendly manner. They must be able to work in a team alongside department managers to train staff on delivering this service.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Ensuring the whole venue is open and closed correctly with all staff vacant
- Stock management and ordering (for example, cleaning supplies)
- Setting an example of exemplary customer service
- Responsible for overseeing the Front of House, Soft Play and Kitchen Porter areas
The role may require hosting of the Soft Play offering.
Education/Qualifications
- Strong administrative and communication skills – Microsoft suite knowledge
Experience
- Experience of leading shifts
- Enthusiastic about hosting and accommodating private bookings
- Liaising with the centre security team to monitor capacity and customer safety
- Responsible for Health & Safety of communal and customer spaces.
Pay
Hourly rate of pay: £12.50
