Join Our Recycling Roadshows This September
This Recycling Week, we’re making it easier than ever to learn how small changes can make a big difference.
Alongside our year-round recycling initiatives, we’re welcoming two special recycling pop-ups to 17&Central, giving visitors the chance to pick up practical tips, ask questions and discover new ways to reduce waste.
Put Your Recycling Skills to the Test
15 September | 10am to 1pm

Join our waste management partners, Don’t Waste, for an interactive recycling challenge designed to make learning about waste segregation fun.
Think you’re a recycling pro?
Participants will be invited to sort a range of everyday waste items into four different recycling bins. The team will then reveal the correct answers, award points and share some of the most common recycling mistakes people make.
There’ll also be sweet treats and giveaways up for grabs, making it a fun activity for shoppers of all ages.
Whether you’re already committed to recycling or simply want to learn a few new tips, come along and see how you score!
Meet the Waltham Forest Recycling Team
17 September | 11am to 3pm

We’re also delighted to welcome the Waltham Forest Council Recycling Team to the centre.
The friendly team will be on hand to share advice on best recycling practices, answer your questions and highlight the many recycling initiatives available across the borough.
Want to know what happens to your recycling after it’s collected? Unsure what can and can’t go in your household recycling bin? Looking for local recycling options for more difficult items?
Drop in and have a chat. The team will be happy to help you improve your recycling knowledge and discover new ways to reduce waste.
