Check out the Deichmann Buy-One-Get-One-Half- Price deal and while you’re there, you might want to pick up a pair (or two) of trainers – they’ve got brands they want at prices you prefer. For bigger families, head to Clarks where they’re offering a brilliant kids’ bundle – buy two pairs, get the third half price, with prices starting at £25 a pair.
For savings on single pairs of shoes, Sports Direct has up to 70% off school shoes and loads of cool styles to choose from. Plus, they’ve got a huge collection of discounted trainers too, which are perfect for PE.

Stationery Station

Calling all stationery lovers! Everyone knows Back-to-School stationery is the BEST.
The School Shop at Asda is a great place to start – you’ll find all the essential stationery you need plus lots of offers (see the red labels for price information).
For fun stationery, that will get them excited about going back to school (and make them actually want to do their homework), take a trip to Card Factory. We spotted some gorgeous, scented notebooks and cute character items. And don’t forget to grab a Good Luck card for all those new starters. They’ve even got cards for big kids heading off to uni too!
The Works has an amazing range of reasonably-priced stationery, crafts and academic diaries – ideal for kids and teachers alike. They also have lots of educational/activity books, which are useful on long journeys and will keep their head in the game over summer.
Shop Smart, Shop Sustainable

For those of you who prefer to shop sustainably and support the circular economy, we’ve got good news – our School Uniform Swap Station is back!
By taking part in our School Uniform Swap, you’ll be helping local families save money, reduce waste and give perfectly good school uniforms a new home. And you might pick up a few pre-loved items for you kids while you’re at it.
So how does it work?
Simply donate clean, good-quality school uniforms that your children have outgrown and exchange your donated items for uniforms from our swap station, which is located outside Play Central in our Food Hall. No uniform to swap? No worries. Please help yourself. And even better, you’ll be supporting our Charity of the Year, the Waltham Forest Samaritans.
Don’t Leave it to the Last Minute

We get it – September seems AGES away but before you know it, it’ll be August bank holiday, and you’ll be dashing around trying to get everything sorted before they start school. While most of these offers will be running throughout August, our advice is to buy early and make it into a fun shopping trip with the kids. We’ve got lots of activities running throughout summer so why not combine the two or bribe them with coffee and a cake, lunch in our Food Hall or a soft play session at Play Central?
Send this to a friend who’s about to embark on the BTS shop or pop it in the school WhatsApp chat.
