To make sure every child gets a chance to meet Santa, we’re opening our enchanting Grotto ahead of the festive season — with Santa making special weekend visits throughout November. Expect twinkling lights, festive cheer, and unforgettable moments. We warmly encourage families to book early to avoid disappointment and make the most of this magical experience.
✨ A Grotto with a Purpose
This festive season, 17 & Central is bringing joy, wonder, and a sprinkle of magic to Walthamstow — not just to celebrate, but to support a vital cause.
We’re proud to be running Santa’s Grotto at the shopping Centre in support of our Charity of the Year, Samaritans Waltham Forest. Every visit helps raise funds to ensure trained volunteers are there to listen and support anyone struggling to cope — because no one should face life’s challenges alone.
🎅 Santa’s Arrival & Opening Dates
Santa and his cheerful elves will officially open the grotto on Saturday 8th November, and will be in residence:
- Weekends from 8th November with additional weekdays added until early December
- Daily from Monday 10th December to Christmas Eve
🎁 Tickets
- £6.00 per child + £1.50 booking fee
- Includes a special gift from Santa
Tickets can be booked online or in person at the grotto. Be sure to read all booking details before securing your spot.
