Pretty Decent Beer Co is Now Pouring at 17 & Central!
Get ready to raise a glass because Pretty Decent Beer Co is bringing their brand-new taproom to 17&Central! Picture this: 10 taps overflowing with craft beer goodness, where you can get your hands on their core beer 'I Could Get Better At T*sco For a Quid' - a fond tribute to an early Google Review.
Pretty Decent & Friends isn't just a bar - it's a buzzing community centre where connections are made over shared interests. Alongside weekly releases of new specials, there will be a jam-packed schedule of events like tasting sessions (think their infamous beer and crisp pairing), cozy supper clubs, and hands-on workshops.
Thursdays are the new Fridays at Pretty Decent - with 'First Pour Thursday' offering pints of that week's special release for the unbeatable price of £4.
All of the beers are brewed a stone's throw away at Pretty Decent's Blackhorse Road site, then pedaled over to 'Pretty Decent & Friends' to keep deliveries emissions free. Their lineup always includes different beer styles of varying strengths, making sure there's something for everyone. From crisp lagers to hazy IPAs, stouts to sours, and inclusive of alcohol-free and gluten-free options, this brewery has got you covered. And wait, there's more! Their menu doesn't stop at beers; it also features sustainable wines and a cocktail list featuring classics, and future classics!
Pretty Decent Beer Co are all about giving back, donating a portion of every beer sold to progressive causes. So, you can feel Pretty Decent about that pint you're buying!

A Message from the Founders
“We're super excited to be opening our third venue in the heart of Waltham Forest.” says Co-Founder Sarah Casey. “The brewery has grown up here and the local community has played such a central part in getting us to where we are today. The name speaks to the fact that we’ll be working closely with some incredible street food vendors to create a community spot where you can come and hang out with your pals”
“It's a great space and we can’t wait to leave our mark on it.” Sarah continues “We want to make it a destination spot for the local community with an events programme, and crucially a drinks list, which has something for everyone. We can't wait to bring Pretty Decent Beer to even more people!”
Co-Founder James Casey adds: “We’re a brewery born and raised in Waltham Forest, and as local residents here also Sarah and I think that the investment in this area is so important for the community - so we are thrilled at the chance to ensure it acts as a platform for independent, locally made produce - we look forward to partnering with amazing food producers already there. And we’re going to have some fun with it - so watch this space for plenty of fresh beer, food pairings, karaoke, happy hour and a general taste of Retail High Life!”
