Things Are Getting Spooky at 17&Central!
Get ready for a frightfully delightful half-term as 17&Central Shopping Centre transforms into a hub of Halloween enchantment! From 29 October to 2 November, families are invited to join us for five days of free, family-friendly fun at the Cosy Room in CRATE Walthamstow.
Whether your little ones are witches-in-training, mini monsters, or just curious explorers, there’s something spellbinding for everyone. From 11am to 4pm daily, the Cosy Room will be buzzing with laughter, music, and just the right amount of spooky sparkle.
What’s Happening at Spook Fest?
Here’s a peek at the ghoulishly good activities lined up:
Spooky Storytime
Snuggle into beanbags and let imaginations run wild with interactive Halloween tales. Expect fun props, gentle thrills, and lots of giggles.
Flying Broomstick
GameInspired by the beloved Room on the Broom, kids will whoosh through the air (well, almost!) and act out animal characters in a joyful group game that’s full of movement and magic.
Monster Mash Disco
Boogie down with our energetic Halloween performers as they teach monster-inspired dance moves. It’s a party that promises to get everyone grooving!
Designed for Little Monsters
This event is specially crafted for small children, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment that’s exciting but never scary. Think colourful decorations, upbeat music, and friendly hosts who make every child feel welcome.
- Costumes are optional—but we love seeing your spooky style!
- All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Free Entry with a Heart
All sessions are completely free, but if you’d like to give back, we’re accepting donations for our charity of the year, Samaritans—a cause close to our hearts.
How to Find Us
Look out for the spooktacular Halloween arch at the bottom of the stairs in CRATE Walthamstow. Follow the trail of bats to the Cosy Room on the 1st floor—you won’t miss it!
Note: Our witches take a well-deserved rest from 1–1:30pm daily.
